Prompto came home with a dog-tired (heh! GET IT?) baby in his arms and immediately handed the worn-out birthday girl to her mother with a kiss, and then promptoly banished them both from the kitchen so that he could get started on whipping up an amazing....well, okay, okay, he was no Ignis in the kitchen, let's be real, so let's go with a relatively mediocre but decidedly heartfelt Valentine's Day dinner with a wine that came (begrudgingly from Argentina) recommended by Ignis when Prompto called him in a slight panic about not knowing the first thing about that kind of thing.
The mint chocolate cake for dessert later, however, he did pick up from the bakery. Sure, he'd made plenty of cakes before, especially for Liz's birthday, but he wanted to focus on dinner, and he wanted the dessert to be undeniably perfect. "So?" he asked. "Ready for your epic romantic Valentine's dinner now?"
[[ oh, hey, it's for that wifey-type person! who'd have thought?? ]]
