It was here! It was time! The big event!
No, no, not Ignis's actual birthday. Sure, that was here, too, but the thing Prompto was really excited about, that just so happened to perfectly align with him being on island for Ignis's big birthday party, the thing that was his absolute favorite Earth tradition ever that he was just so stoked to be here for, and with Ignis having an apartment with a TV so they could watch it, waaaas....
(drumroll please!)
The Puppy Bowl!!!
He was so excited, it was a miracle he could even sit still on the couch in anticipation, although that was helped a little by the fact that somehow, both cats managed to park on his skinny-ass lap and get comfortable, which was not a problem, though it did leave Ignis to take care of things like getting all the snacks and sodas and whatever.
So he sent out a fewoh so handwavey and moddable texts to let people know that the GREATEST EVENT EVER was going down, and then employed a pretty impressive double-ear-scritch technique on the cats while assuring them that, hey, don't think they were being left out, because he'd heard the halftime show was totally going to have kittens!
Then he gave a happy, contented sigh.
Man, Puppy Bowl was just the best!
(Having the party last night go pretty well was pretty great too! But, you know...PUPPIES).
