Prompto had been planning for this thing for a while and it was finally time for all his hard work to come to fruition! Nestled among dozens of other similar houses on a quiet residential street, the Argentum house was usually unremarkable, just one among many typical ~~Tokyo~~ Insomnian homes. But today? Oh, today was definitely different! There would be no mistaking which house was Prompto and Nina's! Pink, yellow, and blue balloons were tied to the mailbox, to the fence, even the corners of the eaves on the roof, and streamers of the same color dripped from the roof as well. A large banner reading "HAPPY BIRTHDAY NINA!!" was hung from the wall and could easily be seen from the street, which had been blocked to traffic for the purposes of the party. After all, they didn't exactly have a backyard, so Prompto had commandeered as much space as he could. Where else would he put the bouncy house??? There was also a table with snacks and beverages out there, and a costumed moogle out there to greet guests and occasionally put on a little show. There was a stereo pumping out some fun, festive music into the air, and that was just the outside!

Because the door was open and there was a sign that clearly indicated there was plenty more fun inside and that everyone was welcome to come in, where they'd find more food in the kitchen and dining room, including a very ~~moddable~~ extensive Build Your Own Cupcake Bar and featuring a fruit and macaroon birthday cake as well as a more traditional one, and then, in the living room, the guests would find everything rearranged around a makeshift karaoke stage, because that's right, everyone, there is definitely going to be karaoke at this party!

And just wait until Prompto started getting everyone together for the games!

Look. He'd never really had a stereotypical backyard birthday party growing up, and he knew for a fact that Nina definitely hadn't, either, and so that was absolutely what was happening today! So grab yourself a party hat (unless you're Nina! Then you get a crown!), maybe a few noisemakers and rainbow sparklers, and get ready to have a great time!

Seivarden was going to assume he was a guest and not a bouncer.

"Are you a friend of Prompto's?" she asked. "And Ignis?"

Oh, sure, Seivarden. Go for the one with the biceps.

Gladio nodded. "I work with them," he said, which maybe didn't directly answer the question, but close enough to a yes in his book. "You know them from Fandom?"

It was pretty clear, though, really, if anyone know them without knowing who he was.

He offered out a hand, markedly ungloved, as he was really the only one of the four who actually never wore them except in full uniform.

"Gladio Amicitia."

Nice biceps, nicely shown off, on someone who was an adult.

Seivarden didn't take his hand, but instead bowed politely. "Seivarden Vendaai. A pleasure. And yes, I do. They are staying in my apartment."

"Ah, right!" A grin of recognition slipped briefly onto his face, and if he was bothered at all by the lack of a handshake, it didn't show in the slightest, as his hands rested comfortably now on his hips. "The roommate! So tell me. How much cleaner did your apartment get once Specs moved in, and how quickly did that all stop once Prompto started crashing there, too?"

That showed off his biceps even nicer.

"The food I'm eating has improved considerably," Seivarden said, deliberately not answering the question. "And Prompto gets along very well with the cat, even if I think Ignis has objections."

Gladio snorted a laugh. Ignis? Objections? He couldn't believe that.

"There's one thing I don't think I'll ever complain about," he admitted. "Ignis's cooking. I'm just glad he makes sure to fill the fridge with leftovers before he leaves for the island."

Leftovers that were mostly for Noctis, but were things Noctis refused to eat, leaving Gladio to reap the benefits of Noct's picky eating.

"He does the same before returning here," Seivarden said with a laugh. "Although he has also taught me some basic cooking."

"So," she added. "Do you live here too?"
