"Hey!" Prompto grunted a little as Nina redoubled her efforts, his heart sinking right back down again. He almost lost her a little bit, there, with all that flailing, but he just tightened his grip on her as much as he could, refusing to let go.

Good thing they were getting closer now, though, he didn't know how much more of her struggling he could manage to hold.
