"I would have thought it worth it," Nina said, confident in her judgement of this other, older, deader her. Present her thought it was fairly worth it too, but she knew better than to say that.

Nina pulled away from him, but not for long and not far--just enough so that, instead of sitting across from each other, she could sit next to him.
