It would be a while before the next response came in, because Noctis had made his way over and slumped down, exhausted from drills, next to Prompto and asked what had his attention so much, which lead to sharing the newborn kitten photos with him, and he had the audacity to say that kittens didn't start looking cute until they were a little older, they looked like aliens when they were newborn, and Gladio, drawn over by Prompto's offense, had to agree with Noct on that one, they looked like drowned rats. And Prompto was appalled that he could even be friends with such people, and Ignis refused to comment when he was called in for his opinion, and the conversation then shifted about the best way to keep ice cream safe when traveling through portals, and, somehow, none of them could tell you exactly how, but Gladio's weekend aversion to shirts came up, which of course meant he was losing his shirt now, and that got the attention of the Marshall who was now telling them to quit messing around....
