And as Liz leaned in for that kiss, Prompto shifted to better wrap his arms around her and pull her in to help her out, and to make the most of that kiss. After all, these were very important preemptive defensive methods they were taking right now, he wanted to make sure it counted.

It was almost enough to make him forget why he'd started this whole bit in the first place, but as he pulled back for air, eventually, shifting his arm so that he could brush some kind of errant hair behind Liz's ear as he grinned at her.

"That," he informed her, "might be enough to hold them off, but I think maybe we should try again, just to be safe."
