"I don't feel comfortable with you using a ladder, either," Prompto admitted, a little apologetically, but it was very true, and the thought of it just sparked up a very protective urge in him. Because if she had tried, and something had happened....He shook his head, trying to chase away those kind of thoughts, especially when this was supposed to be warm and happy Christmas cheer. He handed Liz her mug off hot chocolate with another kiss and held back the urge to just wrap her protectively in his arms. Which would, you know, make it kind of hard for her to actually drink her cocoa or decorate much, so...he'd hold off on that for now.
