"Yeah, well," said Prompto, with an awkward chuckle and the blush on his face rapidly deepening, because he was honestly still just a little embarrassed about the whole thing, especially the part where he still couldn't believe that he would ever deserve something like that happening to him, of all people, "'hey, let me tell you about how I saved a princess's dog and became besties with a prince' isn't exactly a story that can be wedged naturally into a whole lot of conversations..."

But he looked pleased, extremely pleased, by Liz's response, and maybe a little more proud of himself, too.

But his laugh that followed seemed dismissive, like he'd already accepted that it was unlikely.
